When you leave your home and the familiar circles you’ve always moved in, you suddenly notice which connections truly nourish you… and which only kept you where you were.

Traveling and living abroad means meeting people who walk into your life for a moment, sometimes for certrain time, sometimes just briefly and yet they leave an impact. Others stay longer, grow with you and become part of your story in ways you never expected.

Some people show you what you want.
Some show you what you’ll never settle for again.
Some lift you up.
Some redirect you, sometimes gently, sometimes painfully but always in a way that makes you stronger.

Life in motion reveals what matters.
I'm feeling that wvery encounter has a purpose, even the short ones, even the uncomfortable ones.

Blessings or lessons… both shape who you’re becoming. 🤍

One minute you’re barefoot in the sand… and the next someone from home texts “Happy first Advent!” and you’re like "wait… WHAT? It’s almost Christmas again?!" (And it feels like it comes faster every year 😂)

And suddenly you realize there’s not even a full month left to find gifts.

Moving to the ocean was one of the biggest decisions of my life and definitely the one with the strongest impact. So much inside me shifted. ☀️

To workout stopped feeling like something I had to squeeze into a stressful day and became a natural part of a life that actually feels good.

Finding what kind of movement supports both your body and your mind is the key to ease and consistency. 💪🏽

And choosing a life that doesn’t stand still, one that grows with you instead of draining you, has shown me what real balance feels like.

And yes… it all starts with a good cup of coffee. ☕️ 😇

As much as I love and appreciate my long, thick hair — it's becoming a real struggle here in Costa Rica's rainy season. Especially without a hairdryer or anything like that. It’s always frizzy, gets tangled super quickly, and even surfing has become painful because the weight of my wet hair gives me terrible neck pain. 🏄🏽‍♀️🥴

So… I'm thinking about cutting it shorter again. It's been 10 years since I last did that and I remember regretting it. 😂 But honestly, I feel like I’m becoming more practical with age — especially living in a beach town. I’ve been wearing it up all the time anyway, because it’s too hot, gets dirty, tangled or just in the way.

And hey, it grows back fast… so what do I really have to lose?
